I haven't read as many as I would've thought given the title of the list - but at the same time: there are a lot of YA novels. Just because I read a lot of them, doesn't mean I'll read all of them - or even a majority, if you stop and think about it. But it's always fun to see these lists and compare...

...How do you read?

  1. I also did the list and I was disappointed in myself at first but then I had the same thought that you did. "I have read so many other YA books that aren't on the list!" And then I felt better. ;)

  2. Is this list supposed to be in any sort of order? I'm assuming this is "curent" and not "of all time?" Right? Right? AAAAAHHHHH!!!

Ok, sorry for that little outburst.

  3. LOL! Jess...They're organized alphabetically by author's first name (no idea why, but they are, haha)...As to how the list was created: No clue there either. I don't think it's an all-encompassing list though, or there'd be a lot more on it :o)

  4. Additional note: Roughly half of these books are actually middle-grade, not YA. There's a big difference in tone and content there.

  5. Wow...first time I'm seeing this list. *peruses your reading* Good job! *high five* Looks like you've read a good amount, still more to go but hey, that's the FUN part. ^_^ Let's see, my "books read" would total --double checks list-- ..and counting the series as only one....carry the two and....11. Wow, that sounds like SO little... O_O
    Happy reading...no matter your genre!
